Richard Holland was one of four pupils (at the time) selected from Circuit in the course of the Circuit Advocacy Training Program to compete in this annual competition, held at University House on 25th November. The selection was based of those four pupils who displayed outstanding advocacy skills.
The moot itself was founded in memory of Louise Godfrey QC, silk of our chambers and former Leader of the North Eastern Circuit. It has been running for 11 years. It was judged by HHJ Gargan, Stuart Brown QC and Taryn Lee QC. Richard was the unanimous victor.
