Jason Pitter QC and Ben Campbell secure acquittal in joint enterprise alleged murder

Jason Pitter QC and Ben Campbell appeared for Ruben Rewcroft in the alleged joint attack on the partner of the defendant’s sister, who had been in an abusive relationship with the deceased who was stabbed 56 times and died as a result of his injuries. The defendant was jointly charged with his father, who was convicted of manslaughter. Both men had attended at the deceased’s home address armed. The case of the defendant involved consideration of joint enterprise and his mental state (he was suffering from PTSD).
