Paul Greaney QC at Leeds Crown Court

On the 15th December 2014, Paul Greaney QC. appeared on behalf of Martin Bell, whose plea of guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility was accepted by the prosecution. The case gave rise to complex psychiatric issues and important questions relating to the applicable sentencing regime: the killing had been carried out in 2000.
