New Senior Leadership Team

New Park Court Chambers is delighted to announce the election of Amanda Rippon as Head of Chambers (Newcastle), and the appointment of Jason Pitter QC as acting Head of Chambers (Leeds), while Alistair MacDonald QC remains on secondment as Chairman of the Bar Council of England and Wales.

Amanda has spent a considerable part of her career in chambers at Newcastle and is widely respected by the profession and the Judiciary. Her election as the first female head of a Chambers in the city is a reflection of the esteem in which she is held by her colleagues and the wider legal community.

Jason is also familiar face on the North East Circuit, and has a blossoming senior practice since taking silk last year. Jason remains Chambers’ Head of recruitment with the principal aim of maintaining the strength and quality of Chambers whilst promoting diversity.
