Paul Greaney QC prosecutes the youngest ever defendant charged with terrorism

Paul Greaney QC today appeared on behalf of the Crown in the prosecution of the youngest ever defendant charged with a terrorism offence in this jurisdiction. The defendant was aged 14 at the date of the offence. At a hearing at the Old Bailey today, he pleaded guilty to inciting terrorism overseas. The case concerns a plot to attack an Anzac Day parade in Melbourne. The boy will be sentenced in September.
