Simon Phillips QC is appointed as Circuit Judge

New Park Court Chambers is delighted to announce the appointment to the Circuit Bench of Simon Phillips QC. H H Judge Simon Phillips QC has practised from New Park Court Chambers since 1989 and is widely respected by the profession and the Judiciary. Fortunately, he will be sitting on the North Eastern Circuit and has been appointed to sit at Teesside Combined Court Centre with effect from 24th November 2015. H H Judge Phillips is well known as a personable and charming lawyer with a reputation for fairness and conspicuous ability both as a Recorder and an Immigration Judge. We will miss his support in Chambers and his enthusiasm and expertise as Chairman of the Trustees at 16 Park Place. We all wish him well in his deserved appointment as one of Her Majesty’s Judges.
