Dafydd Enoch QC leading Chloe Hudson successfully prosecuted a ‘baby shaking’ trial at Sheffield Crown Court on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service. James Larkin received 12 years imprisonment following a 5 week trial for the manslaughter of his partner’s son. The case involved highly complex medical issues. Mr Larkin’s partner, defended by Ian Brook, was found guilty of perverting the course of justice and received 18 months imprisonment.
The case was heard before Mrs Justice Andrews.
