New Park Court welcomes new talent

New Park Court is pleased to announce four new tenancies.

Ryan Donoghue and Danielle Gilmour have been offered tenancy after successfully completing their pupillages and are accepting instructions across all of our key practice areas of Crime, Regulatory, Civil and Family.

Ian Cook and Susannah Proctor, former solicitor advocates at David Ake & Co and ABR Solicitors respectively, are joining our crime and regulatory team at the end of October.

Susannah was called to the Bar in 2005 and specialises in criminal law and regulatory law. Susannah’s role at ABR saw her acting as solicitor advocate in sexual assault cases, multi handed drugs conspiracies, fraud cases and section 18 wounding cases.

Ian transferred to the Bar in 2018 after having practised as a solicitor advocate for the past 8 years. He has experience in a wide range of criminal matters including arson, drugs and acting as junior counsel in murder and manslaughter cases.

Both Ian and Susannah are able to accept instructions for both prosecution and defence work and will be based in both Leeds and Newcastle.

Tim Coulson, Chambers Director, commented: ‘Both Ian and Susannah’s appointments confirm NPC’s commitment to our long term strategy to attract outstanding talent from all legal backgrounds. We are thrilled that they have selected NPC to develop their independent practices and progress to the next stage of their careers.’

If you wish to find out more about opportunities at NPC, please call Tim for an in confidence discussion on 07960 968809 or email tim.coulson@newparkcourt.co.uk.
