Following the lifting of reporting restrictions by the Recorder of Leeds, we are now able to report that Elyas Patel was instructed to represent one of 28 defendants involved in the recent Huddersfield rape trial before HHJ Marson QC at Leeds Crown Court.
Mr Patel’s client was the only defendant to be acquitted of all charges, including rape.
