Christopher Rose, leading Richard Holland, appeared in the prosecution of a serial rapist who was found guilty of attacking four women over a period of ten years and an area spanning two counties.
Lee Goldsworthy was convicted of four counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault, one of which was against a 12-year-old child following a three-week trial at Newcastle Crown Court.
He was sentenced to 22 years’ imprisonment with an extended period of 8 years.
