Danielle secured a 4 month suspended sentence for her client who was charged with seven offences. The case involved complex legal and evidential issues. As a result of Danielle’s submissions the prosecution were persuaded to accept pleas to a limited number of offences and offered no evidence on the remainder of the most serious offences.
Cases involving the falsification of driver records in the Crown Court ordinarily see deterrent sentences of immediate imprisonment imposed, particularly where there are multiple offences.
