Chloe Hudson and Ashleigh Metcalfe successful in murder prosecution.
Chloe Hudson leading Ashleigh Metcalfe were successful in the murder prosecution of James Macken at Leeds Crown Court. The jury convicted the Defendant unanimously following a two week trial before Mr. Justice Jacobs. The Defendant was found to have beaten the victim during a sustained physical assault causing in excess of 100 individual injuries. The Defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 16 years. Chloe Hudson and Ashleigh Metcalfe were instructed by Yorkshire and Humberside Crown Prosecution Service.
