Chris Smith appointed Circuit Judge

New Park Court Chambers is delighted to announce the appointment to the Circuit Bench of Chris Smith with immediate effect.

HH Judge Smith is well known as a personable and charming lawyer and Recorder on the Circuit. He has spent his much of his career in chambers in Leeds both at Zenith Chambers and, for the past decade, at New Park Court. He will be sitting on his ‘home’ North Eastern Circuit: The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to Teesside.

We will miss his support and enthusiasm for all things Chambers and we all wish him well in his deserved appointment as one of Her Majesty’s Judges.
