Jason Pitter KC has been retained to represent GMP officers in the Andrew Malkinson Inquiry, the independent inquiry into the miscarriage of justice suffered by him due to his wrongful conviction for horrific offences . The terms of reference include that “the Inquiry shall investigate the handling of the case of Mr Andrew Malkinson by Greater Manchester Police, the Crown Prosecution Service and the Criminal Cases Review Commission.”
Jason is currently recognised as a Tier 1 Silk in Professional Discipline with his practice focusing on representing professionals at misconduct hearings (police, medical and sports).
