Chloe Hudson represents the GMC in Misconduct Tribunal

Chloe Hudson has just concluded a case representing the GMC at the Medical Practitioners Tribunal, in which Dr James Gilbert received a suspension for serious misconduct.  The allegations that led to Mr Gilbert’s hearing related to his conduct towards colleagues, including trainees, at the Oxford Transplant Centre. It was alleged that Mr Gilbert behaved inappropriately and that his behaviour was variously sexually motivated, constituted sexual harassment, constituted harassment related to race, was intimidating, racist, and an abuse of his senior position. The Tribunal determined that the transplant surgeon was found to have sexually harassed four colleagues and he was suspended for eight months.
