Sharon Beattie KC leading Emma Atkinson represented the Prosecution in the case of R v Curry. The Defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment for the Murder of Neil Selkirk in August 2024. He will serve a minimum term of 19 years before being eligible to be considered for Parole.
His victim, Mr Selkirk, was found by a passing police patrol, he was lying face down in a pool of blood, his trousers had been pulled down to his ankles, and he had sustained serious head, face and neck injuries.
