Richard Holland presented a webinar in conjunction with The Leeds Law Society on 19 March. Entitled, Section.22 POCA Applications – when POCA comes back for a second bite, Richard discussed how the courts are increasingly seeing prosecuting authorities making applications to revisit the available amount of confiscation orders through s.22 of POCA 2002, often many years after the original order was made and when a defendant has very often turned their life around.
This webinar recapped the law, looked at the relevant authorities and gave tips, guidance and examples as to how best to deal with these applications.
