Professor John Cooper KC joins Chambers as a door tenant

We are pleased to share that Professor John Cooper KC has accepted our offer of Door Tenancy with effect from Monday 24th March.

Professor Cooper KC is well known for acting in high profile matters, many of the leading and most sensitive cases over the past 25 years.  His previous inquiry work includes the Manchester Arena Inquiry and advising in relation to the Grenfell Inquiry, Professor Cooper also receives instructions in regulatory and public law casework, notably the Judicial Review in the Dr David Kelly, Government Weapons Inspector Inquest, the Deepcut Barracks Inquest and advising the London Mayor in the John Warboys Judicial Review.

Professor Cooper has an extensive serious crime practice.  Casework has included the acquittal of his defendant in the Ashley Dale murder trial in Liverpool and representation of the son of Abu Hamza in the Finsbury Park Mosque case.
