News & Events
We are delighted to announce that following the successful completion of their pupillages, Léa Levine, Freddie Adams, and Miah Nath have accepted our invitations to join New Park Court Chambers as tenants.
During her pupillage, Léa Levine (Call 2022) observed and actively assisted counsel under the joint supervision of Richard Holland and Ben Campbell. Léa has worked alone and with her supervisors on a variety of criminal cases, including murder, complex fraud, serious sexual offences, armed robbery and drug conspiracies and has also observed regulatory matters, private children law, non-molestation and financial remedy proceedings.
Freddie Adams’ (Call 2023) pupillage was completed under the supervision of Christopher Rose and Lee Fish. Freddie has developed a deep understanding of criminal practice, for both prosecution and defence, at a variety of levels, and has shadowed sexual offences, complex fraud, and homicide cases. Freddie also has experience in civil work and has undertaken multiple ‘small claims’ hearings in the County Court.
Miah Nath (Call 2024) undertook her pupillage supervised by Nick Lane, where she developed extensive insight into the prosecution and defence of Crown Court offences. She successfully completed the Advocacy for Children in Conflict course, enabling her to represent children and young people sensitively and effectively. Miah is developing a family practice, alongside her criminal practice.
Rob Wagg, CEO, said, “Pupillage is not designed to be easy, nor is it meant to deliver the finished article. But Lea, Freddie and Miah can rightly be very proud of their progress and what they have achieved during their first year in Chambers. From appearing in the Court of Appeal, to receiving high praise from the judiciary and peers, and being instructed for jury trials in the Crown Court, all while Second Six pupils, speaks to their character, skill, growth and the level of opportunity we offer those at the very beginning of their careers. I wish each of them the very best for their future in Chambers and at the Bar.”
Léa, Freddie, or Miah take instructions across our key practice areas, including crime, family, regulatory and civil.
