Adam Birkby represented a Greater Manchester Police officer facing multiple alleged breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour arising out of his use of force when attempting to arrest a vulnerable adult with complex mental health needs at a care home. The officer was cleared of all charges following a 2-day gross misconduct hearing.
