Georgina Goring successfully represented a Humberside Police Constable facing breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour arising out of a stop and search under the Misuse of Drugs Act. The Officer was alleged to have been dishonest in relation to this search, seizure of drugs and subsequent documentation.
The Panel found that the Officer’s actions amounted to neither gross misconduct nor misconduct. The outcome was reflective practice for the Officer.
