Paul Greaney KC appears in the High Court in Belfast on behalf of the Chairman of the Omagh Bombing Inquiry

Paul Greaney KC represented Lord Turnbull in responding to a challenge brought to his decision that there is no power in an inquiry established under the Inquiries Act 2005 to appoint a special advocate. The hearing took place before McAlinden J. over the course of four days between 9 and 12 March. Judgment is awaited.

Paul is Counsel to the Omagh Bombing Inquiry and is a member of the Bar of Northern Ireland, as well as the Bar of England and Wales.  He is instructed by Tim Suter of Field Fisher. Nick de la Poer KC is the second senior member of the counsel team. Danielle Gilmour, Daisy Wrigley and Amber Walker are members of a junior counsel team.
