Dr Elizabeth Tiarks specialises in criminal law and regulatory law.
Elizabeth undertook pupillage at New Park Court Chambers in Newcastle and was taken on as a tenant in 2006.
In 2008, Elizabeth went part-time at the bar to undertake further study, obtaining an MA in Philosophy with distinction and then a PhD in Law from Durham University.
Elizabeth joined Northumbria Law School as a senior lecturer in 2015 and remains an academic member of chambers.
