On 3rd July 2014, the Court of Appeal quashed the conviction of Nadeem Aslam and on the 8th July 2014 declined to order a retrial. Mr. Aslam, a pilot, had been convicted on 16 counts of rape at a trial in December 2010 (Paul Greaney did not appear at trial). The Court heard fresh evidence over two days in early June 2014. The citation is [2014] EWCA Crim 1292. Paul Greaney was instructed by Abdul Iftikhar of Kamrans Solicitors.
