Adam Birkby represented the chief executive of a prominent local company at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court. He successfully advanced an exceptional hardship argument thereby ensuring that his client avoided a driving disqualification.
Afterwards his client stated “Adam Birkby is exactly the kind of sympathetic, calming presence any client would want, in Conference and at Court, and with excellent advocacy skills to get clients the best possible result”.
Adam has significant experience of all areas of road traffic law having successfully defended clients including Premiership footballers Kevin Nolan and Grant Leadbitter.
Adam was instructed via the direct access scheme. New Park Court Chambers has a strong team, including Queen’s Counsel, who are willing and able to act on a direct access basis. Members of the team are regularly instructed by individuals and companies on cases involving almost every area of law from criminal, regulatory and disciplinary law to employment and family law.
