Jeremy Barton successfully appeals a decision of the Department of Work & Pensions

28/08/2018

The appeal was heard before a tribunal sitting at Hull Magistrates Court and concerned the ability of the Appellant to walk in excess of 20 metres. The decision has meant that the Appellant will now receive a mobility vehicle that was previously denied, despite the award existing for the past 36 years.

The Government have recently made awards of PIP more difficult to obtain causing a great deal of stress and anxiety to those affected. Jeremy’s knowledge of the system and the arbitrary points scheme in place helped seal the appeal.

This case was received via direct access instructions.
