Adam Birkby successfully defends police officer in gross misconduct proceedings

Adam Birkby represented a police officer facing multiple allegations of breaching the Standards of Professional Discipline arising out of his use of force when arresting a child at a school for pupils with behavioural problems. The officer was cleared of all charges following a 4-day gross misconduct hearing.
