Background

Daisy Wrigley is currently undertaking her second six in Chambers and accepts instructions in criminal, family and civil matters.

Daisy commenced pupillage in September 2023, under the supervision of Geraldine Kelly and Chloe Fairley. As such, she observed experienced counsel in serious trials and a wide variety of cases, prosecuting and defending in the Crown Court and magistrates’ court, and at the General Medical Council.

Prior to pupillage, Daisy worked as a County Court Advocate for one of the largest advocacy providers in the UK. She appeared at courts across the North Eastern Circuit before District Judges at small claims hearings, possession lists, interlocutory applications, and approval hearings, amongst others. Alongside this role, she also worked as a legal associate, and legal assistant to a barrister, in family and civil matters. She managed her own case load and was the primary contact for clients.

Daisy has undertaken youth training and general advocacy training. She has also taken part in various pro-bono schemes including the Yorkshire Tribunal Advocacy Scheme, Street Law, and Legal Advice Clinics.

Daisy is organised, has attention to detail and is able to work to tight deadlines. She recognises the importance of ensuring that her clients understand how the law applies to their specific circumstances and ensures that each client’s needs are met at all times.
