Nicholas de la Poer KC secures conviction in terrorism case at the Central Criminal Court


Nicholas de la Poer KC appeared for the Crown at the Central Criminal Court in the prosecution of a man charged with terrorism offences.

The case against Magomed-Husejn Dovtaev alleged that the defendant conducted a hostile reconnaissance for a terrorist attack on an Iranian television station in West London.

The defendant was today found guilty of one charge of attempting to collect information useful for terrorism and is due to be sentenced on 22nd December.
